We invite Pre- K through 2nd grade artists and their families to join us between 5:00- 6:00pm and 3rd through 5th grade artists and families to join us between 6:00-7:00pm. If you have multiple students, we ask you visit the Art Show any time that is most convenient for your family.

1st grade artists had a great time at the SCAD Museum of Art! They learned about artist, Faith Ringgold’s, story quilts, got to make some art and enjoy a yummy lunch outside!
Starting February 1st, Crazy Crayons and Marker Cap Earring will be for sale every Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:45 to 9:10 outside the Art room.

Kindergarten and 1st grade mini morning art camp wrapped up this week. Keep a look out on our Marshpoint Facebook page and Mrs. Ambrose’s parent newsletter for new Printmaking mini morning art camps for all grade levels starting in January 2024!
3rd grade artists are starting to build ceramic sculptures inspired by fictional expeditions. Check back soon for their finished sculptures!
Our visiting artist, Laura Lingle, and our Marshpoint artists are busy working with mosaic materials to continue our mural in the front atrium.
4th grade artists recently went on a field trip to The Jepson Center. While at the museum, students viewed the artworks of local Savannah artist, Ulysses Davis. In addition to touring the museum, students also had the opportunity to create their own sculptures!
1st grade artists created paintings inspired by music they listened to while working. Click on your students' teacher's name to watch a slideshow of students' paintings.
3rd grade artists have been creating colors to represent a variety of emotions. After painting, they added visual texture to create beautiful paper weavings.
5th grade artists have been working on drawing self portraits through careful observation. Check back to see their final products soon.
